Payment Authorization and Billing Terms Policy

  1. Authorization: By providing your payment information, you authorize Room2Room Movers to securely store and charge your card for the agreed-upon products or services, in accordance with the terms outlined herein.
  2. Terms of Charges: Room2Room Movers may only charge your card for the agreed-upon products and services which include but are not limited to per-minute overtime fees, additional mileage, multiple service locations, convenience fees, online processing fees, credit and debit card fees and other additional balances you may owe as a result of your product or service.
  3. Cancellation and Refunds: We allow a 24 hour Risk Free Cancellation Period. Online booking fees captured at time of booking are non refundable at any time. Moves booked within 72 hours of the appointment time, are nonrefundable. Cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to your appointment time are subject to service credit for a move in the future. Rescheduled appointments are not eligible for service credit. We allow one update to your appointment date and time, address change, and even service upgrade. Any subsequent updates or time/date changes must be made at least 72 hours in advance to avoid rescheduling fees.
  4. Data Security: Room2Room Movers maintains measures to safeguard your payment information.
  5. Dispute Resolution: Our dispute resolution process involves submitting a detailed description of the issue via email to [email protected], followed by a thorough investigation by our team within 5-7 business days, aiming to reach a fair resolution.
  6. Compliance: To ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, we adhere to stringent measures to safeguard your payment information and maintain the security of our systems.

Damage Liability and Claims Waiver

You acknowledge and agree to the terms regarding liability for potential damages to my belongings during the moving, storage, and handyman process as outlined below:

  1. Perishable Items: I understand that certain items, such as perishable or fragile goods, may be more susceptible to damage during handling, transportation, and storage. Room2Room Movers cannot guarantee the condition of perishable items upon delivery.
  2. Exclusions: I understand that Room2Room Movers cannot be held liable for damages resulting from mechanical breakdown, improper packing or wrapping by third parties, previously damaged items, or missing/unaccounted for items.
  3. Prohibited Items: I acknowledge that Room2Room Movers is prohibited from handling, transporting, and storing items such as hazardous materials, which may include explosives, flammable liquids, corrosive substances, toxic materials, and pressured containers, living things such as pets, plants, and other living organisms, valuables and personal documents such as jewelry, money, and legal doctrines, sensitive or irreplaceable items such as heirlooms, antiques and fragile collectibles, illegal items such as illicit drugs and stolen goods, and large oversized items such as pianos, safes and oversized furniture. I agree not to include such items in the belongings to be handled, moved, and transported by Room2Room Movers.
  4. Minor Damage: I understand Room2Room Movers cannot be held liable for minor scratches or scuffs that may occur during the handling, moving, and storage process.
  5. Adding protection: I understand that Room2Room Movers has presented me the opportunity to add additional property protection to my service.
  6. Actual Cash Value: I understand that claims are settled on an actual cash value at time of loss.
  7. Claim Process: I understand that in the event of damages, a claim must be filed before Room2Room Movers departs from the premises. I acknowledge that I must call (334)707-5582 or email [email protected] to initiate the claim process.
  8. Filling A Claim: I understand that detailed receipts of the damaged item must be presented to Room2Room Movers in order for a claim to be settled at actual cash value. If I do not have receipts any information on the damaged item, Room2Room Movers will not be held responsible for making a claim on my damaged item.
  9. Post-Departure Disclaimer: I understand that Room2Room Movers cannot be held liable for damages, including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, or vehicle damage, occurring after their departure from the final job premises.
  10. Indemnification: I agree to indemnify and hold harmless Room2Room Movers, its employees, agents, and representatives from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of or related to the transportation, storage, or handling of my belongings, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Room2Room Movers.
  11. Attic Space Liability Disclaimer. I acknowledge and understand the risks involved in moving items into or out of attic spaces, including potential property damage, personal injury, or structural issues. Room2Room Movers reserves the right to assess the safety of the attic space and may decline service if it poses a safety risk, without obligation to refund or adjust the service cost. If Room2Room Movers does access your attic space, you agree to ensure the attic is accessible and hazard-free, and release Room2Room Movers from liability for any injuries, damages, or pre-existing structural issues related to attic moves.

Text Message / Email Marketing 

  1. By providing your personal information for the purpose of email and text marketing, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
  2. Consent: By submitting your personal information, you expressly consent to the use of your email address and phone number for marketing purposes, including the receipt of promotional emails, newsletters, and text messages.
  3. Collection and Use: We will collect and use your personal information solely for the purpose of sending marketing communications, updates, and offers related to our products, services, and events via both email and text messaging.
  4. Data Protection: We are committed to protecting your personal information and will not share, sell, or disclose your email address or phone number to any third parties for their marketing purposes.
    Unsubscribe: You have the right to unsubscribe from our marketing communications at any time by following the opt-out instructions provided in the emails, responding with “STOP” to text messages, or by contacting us directly.
    Opt-in: Your provision of personal information for email and text marketing constitutes an opt-in to receive such communications via both email and text messaging.
  5. Message and data rates may apply: By providing your phone number for text marketing, you acknowledge that standard message and data rates from your mobile service provider may apply.
    Updates: These terms and conditions are subject to updates and changes, and it is your responsibility to review them regularly for any modifications.

Storing Your Items With Room2Room Movers 

1. If you choose to store items with Room2Room Movers after your move out date, additional storage rates may apply. 
2. If the storage rates are not paid within 30 days of the due date, Room2Room Movers reserves the right to take full possession of the stored items. The customer forfeits any claim on the item, and Room2Room Movers may dispose of or sell the items at their discretion to cover unpaid fees.
